Le Trame e gli Incanti  nella pratica artistica di Betti Failla

La natura mostra costantemente le sue meraviglie, di cui le anime belle colgono l’essenza e ne plasmano forme da cui emergono gli aspetti del costante mutamento, insieme a quelli di una permanenza estatica della visione.

Fermare il tempo, in un fare che è un muoversi entro il fluire perpetuo delle stagioni, ordinando elementi o, al contrario, confondendo, confrontando, compenetrando ciò che è singolare, isolato, complesso nella sua semplicità, quotidiano, ricco di povertà e per questo gratuito, comune e sublime al tempo stesso.

Betti Failla è un’artista che vive circondata da elementi naturali, di cui si nutre e che riprende e reinterpreta secondo un sentire magico, intuitivo, arcaico, giocoso e libero da impostazioni scolastiche o da correnti artistiche codificate.

Betti Failla, nel suo “mondo magico”, ritrova antiche pratiche ed antichi percorsi dell’umano sentire, che la portano a produrre elementi archetipici capaci di emozionare, di far affiorare memorie complesse di un inconscio collettivo caldo, materno e unificante.

Con gli innumerevoli elementi della “madre terra” l’artista si cimenta in un lavoro d’intarsio, di ricucitura, fatto di tagli ed intrecci, di aggregazione e rarefazione della materia, riformulando la sintassi della natura ed offrendo nuove visioni per nuovi occhi.

La sua opera, costante e convulsa, prende vita nelle sue mani, mentre si creano merletti di foglie, si tendono fili dorati tra mondi separati, si susseguono perle di pioggia tra spazi di-versi, si liberano ali colorate che seguono i percorsi verticali di improbabili torri di pietra.

Equilibrismi scultorei vivono l’attimo fuggente di uno sguardo, tra onde di emozioni sempre tempestose e stranianti.

La visione delle opere di Failla ci riporta al bisogno di perdersi per ritrovarsi, in un mondo incantato dove sopravvivono le emozioni delle favole e del nostro essere bambini pieni di meraviglia e di stupore.

Arte come racconto, come gioco e come terapia del desiderio; un desiderio assoluto che si ritrova in ogni opera dell’artista che narra di un Paradiso perduto, di un Altrove che è sotto i nostri occhi, ciechi all’antica capacità di vedere l’infinito estatico che ci circonda.

La nostra artista è una sorta di fata dei boschi dalle mille magie, che incanta con la sue tracce d’arte disseminate nel tempo e nello spazio delle sue diverse stagioni.

Arte infine come Eros e come continuo divenire, in una rinascita del senso che passa attraverso il recupero di ciò che ha realmente valore: l’attimo, la passione, il piacere di vivere la vita come una danza continua, come un canto riconoscente, come una preghiera infinita.

The nature constantly shows its wondersand , and  beautiful souls capture the essence of it   and they shape  forms which highlight aspects of the constantly changing, along with those of a stay ecstatic vision

Stop time, in doing which is a move by the perpetual flow of the seasons , ordering elements or, conversely , confusing , confronting , penetrating what is singular , isolated, complex in its simplicity , daily newspaper , full of poverty and for this free , common and sublime at the same time .
Betti Failla is an artist who lives surrounded by natural elements , on which it feeds and reproduces and reinterprets according to a magical feeling , intuitive, archaic , playful and free from school settings or artistic currents encoded .
Betti Failla , in his " magical world " finds ancient practices and ancient routes of human feeling , which led her to produce the archetypal elements able to excite , to bring out memories of a collective unconscious complex warm, maternal and unifying .
With the many elements of the " Mother Earth ..." the artist engages in a work of inlay , re-sewing , made cuts and twists , aggregation and scarcity of matter , by reformulating the syntax of nature and offering new visions for new eyes .
His work, constant and convulsive , comes to life in his hands , while creating lace leaves, golden threads are stretched between worlds separate , successive beads of rain between spaces of - ways are released colored wings that follow the paths of vertical improbable stone towers.

Balancing sculptural living the fleeting moment of a glance, between waves of emotions always stormy and alienating .
The vision of the works of Failla takes us back to the need to get lost to find yourself in a magical world of fairy tales where they survive the emotions and our children be filled with wonder and amazement .
Art as a story, as a game and as a therapy of desire; an absolute desire to be found in each artist's work that tells of a paradise lost, an elsewhere that is before our eyes , the blind old ability to see the infinite ecstatic that surrounds us.
Our artist is a kind of fairy of the woods with a thousand spells , which enchants with its traces of art scattered in time and space of its different seasons.
Eros and finally as art as continuous becoming, in a sense of rebirth that comes through the recovery of what really value : for the moment, the passion , the joy of living life as a dance continues, as a grateful hand , as a prayer endless.  (North Watt)
